Capture the Flag
We keep the community alive with our weekly capture the flag events (CTF). We provide the basic equipment and training for new recruits. You provide the players. CTF is for warriors 7 and up. We require a signed waiver for every participant.
Capture the Flag is run in Clark Park at 43rd and baltimore Ave, on Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm. We suggest a sliding scale donation of $5 for returning players. Follow us on Facebook for live updates.
This event is provided to the public to encourage active outdoor play among our communities. We provide basic instruction for new players, general supervision and basic foam play equipment. You don't need to be a seasoned actor, gamer or athlete to play; we have plenty of friends join us each week who've never played a sport or been on stage, and they rock our socks off.
CTF is a cooperative sport because it runs on the honor system. There are no referees because the discipline of the game is to respond to the attacks of your opponents. So fight hard for your team but the glory doesn't go to the winners, in Epic Adventeruz the greatest honor is to "Die Well." Sportsmanship carries the highest rewards on the field where players praise each other for terrific acting and playing well. Besides, you're back in the game in no time.
Sojourn
This is somewhat of a miracle, somehow we manage to put an entire camp into one day. You’ll be introduced to the art of improvisational theater, character creation combined with our active play games and forge your own adventure. Capped off with a themed story game where you have a chance to interact with the character you created.
Adventure Camp
We combine energetic camp teaching staff with a creative theater team to offer the campers a rounded mentor pool. Whether your camper loves sports, gaming, theater or art it's easy for them to find fellow campers and staff members to play and identify with. These diverse skills and interests combine together to create a magical week. An experience that takes everyone to build while celebrating individuality. Culminating in an epic night game.
Questing Camp
Create your character and explore new worlds full of magic brought to life with costumes, sets and special fantasy props. Prepare for adventure with improv theater games, foam swords training and magic classes. Engaging physical, social and creative programing you can’t find anywhere else!
